Simple words
That’s all they were
And yet they hit the
inner cords
Words affirming
Words of learning
Words to spark a
fire burning
Sticks and stones
May break my bones
But words can also
hurt me
Yet the other hand,
Is just as true,
Words strengthen
more than planned
Simple words
